<p><font color="cyan">Yeah, it was a bit odd and seemed almost as if Pearl was flanderized, but I could see Pearl was prossibly just going berzerk under the pressure and stress. On top of that, I wonder if that's how Steven sees Pearl. I mean Steven was the one telling the story.</font> </p>

<p>NONAHAHAHAAAAA.. It was STEVEN who was telling the story, so everything was perceived from HIS perspective. Steven just sees Pearl as really clingy and worried all the time (which she kinda is) so it wasn't that Pearl was acting weird, it was just how Steven perceived Pearl as. </p>

<p>Well, Pearl is quick to break under pressure as seen in So Many Birthdays, so it makes sense. </p>

Rose is kinda like a hero to the other Gems. Pearl does seem to panic when others close to her are in danger.

<p>Yea, I made a comment about what she said in the ending. She probably was just going absoultly INSANE under the pressure. Stevens aging was less of a panic, because it was easier to fix, and didnt require going on a mission and such, and only required to calm him down and make him happy. A broken gem however, is a HUGE deal. It required magic tears and such, and because Rose is gone, it was much harder to to, causing Pearl to flip out and go insane because it was more difficult to fix the problem. Everyone knows when your stressed or panicing, you do strange things. She was worried about the garden because it was one of her last memories of Rose, and loosing something like that would kinda stink. but she was mainly going insane because of Amethyst. </p>

<p>Pearl didn't really say that. Steven made it up, he even confirmed it when Connie asked. </p>
