</p><p><i>How are Gems made?</i>
</p><p>When I say this, I don't mean Kindergarten. How are Gems actually made?
</p><p>Well, as you know, as in Earth, gemstones usually grow hidden. Pearls grow in clams, some other gemstones grow underground, baka stuff like that. Well, what if that's the same for Gems, too? Here's what I'm saying. One day, Gems start to naturally form. They start off in one base form, their gem. As they start to develop, they gain more energy. Finally, they fly out of the ground and make the Gems that we know today. Isn't this a real fun topic? And no one answered it.

<p>My guess is that the homeworld planet has some kind of substance that gives certain objects life-in this case, minerals and gemstones-and so when gemstones naturally form on the planet as like on earth, it would be given life and certain powers based on what type of gem it is. This theory comes from my kindergarted theory, where i think the homeworld gems create gems by growing gems that can be manually grown themselves (for example, amethysts can be grown by humans) and using the spider-pointy-robot thingy to inject the life supply and give the gemstones life. Great question! ;)

<p>I think that homeworld gems are formed from comets or meteoroids, which then fall to homeworld. These gems are nurtured until they gain enough strength to create physical forms. That of course is only speculation.

<p>I'm guessing that, back on the homeworld, Gems just magically "hatch" out of mineral veins every now and then.
</p><p>The Kindergarten technology is probably designed to artificially replicate the precice conditions required for gem formation.
</p><p>(Either that, or there were never any natural Gems, and Gems were originally created by some other aliens that we haven't heard of yet.)
