I hope Pearl will be OK, Garnet realy hurt her by doubling the pain she recieved. Will Garnet hold a groudge? If so, how long? Given that Gems don't age, I'd say quite a while.

I really like this episode and what it shows about Pearl and Amethyst and feeling weak all the time. Even though I feel this will never happen, I think that it would be kindof interesting to see an episode where the gems have a talk with Garnet and tell her to unfuse for a day, and Pearl and Amethyst form Opal for that entire day, just so Ruby and Sapphire can remember a little bit of what it's like to feel inferior to other, stronger gems when they were alone, and how fusing together, and love, made them feel so much better about life. When refused she probably would still be a bit mad since what Pearl did was so wrong, but I think she would have felt a bit more...understanding at least.

The title has a much deeper meaning now! Poor Pearl, I was scared for her when Garnet was so furious. There was a thread a little while ago about topics that may be too adult for SU, but I think they portrayed the fear that children feel when their parents fight very well.

Amethyst's singing was an unexpected surprise, and I really liked the way she was animated in this one. When she and Steven went out there alone, I was hoping they'd fuse so she could feel strong again, but wow! Incredible episode anyway.

Actually...

I totally agree.

I was also impressed by what seems to be a more mature and thoughtful Amethyst, who actually seemed to understand Pearl better than Garnet.

That was interesting. I didn't think Garnet would get that angry at her but looking back on her views on fusion from "Keeping it Together" she probably thought Pearl was forcing them to become Sardonyx I get it. I also felt so bad for Amethyst because Garnet and Pearl were celebrating and she was just there probably thinking she wasn't good enough for them because she was from the kindergarten and Garnet and Pearl were from Homeworld.

Well they could go on like this forever but this is a kid's show so probably not that long

Especially when you compare Amethyst's reactions to the suggestion of forming Sugilite in Coach Steven and now.
