<p>So I was thinking that in the present of the show there are currently 7 gems we have been introduced to, and whenever there is a group of 7 i try to see if they embody any of the sins. So here is a list below tell me if you agree disagree or think someone should be something else.  </p><p>EDIT: here is a short version in case you don't want to read the whole thing  </p><p>Lust: Ruby    Gluttony: Amethyst     Greed: Lapis      Sloth: Sapphire     Wrath: Jasper   Envy: Pearl      Pride: Peridot  </p><p>Lust: an uncontrollable and intensedesire for something. The gem I think embodies this the best is Ruby as she has an intense desire to be with sapphire. Going as far as to make out with her (so much adorableness) right infront of steven causing him to avert his eyes.  </p><p>Gluttony: overindulgence to the point of waste.  Amethyst loves to eat, but doesn't have to. Tried to steal the together breakfast and ate pizza steve. This was the easiest for me.  </p><p>Greed: this was the hardest one for me to think of but I think Lapis was the best fit (also she was the only one left) . She was willing to hoard all the water in the world, and put millions of lives at risk, just to acchive her goals. And doesn't trust the crystal gems with the location of malachite, so she will continue to be the only one protecting steven.  </p><p>Sloth: I chose Sapphire for this as she takes a very passive role both times we see her. In keystone motel she chose to wait for ruby to realize she was right, instead of actively working to reach a solution with her. Sloth is also defined by spiritual apathy and being emotionally inactive. Ruby states that sapphire likes to pretend she doesn't have feelings, so i thought she could fall here aswell.  </p><p>Wrath: I chose Jasper for this, wrath is defined by rage (check) Self destructivenesss (check) and fueds that can last for centruries (check). She is very angry with her fighting, enjoys violence, her rage has lead her to 2 selfdestructive actions, charging at garnet and fusing with lapis, and she stil holds a grudge from a war almost 5,500 years ago.  </p><p>Envy: This one goes to Pearl in my opinion. She was shown to be jealous of Sugilite's strenght. Lion's connection to rose, Greg's connection to rose, and Garnet's strenght. </p><p>Pride: I say Peridot for this one, as prior to her capture she is often calling the crystal gems below her. And remarking as to how much smarter than them she is. In addition, she always seems to be quite proud of herself whenever her plans work, and she has been known to taunt them upon escape. Even after capture she still considers herself superior to Pearl, but she has begun to learn humility.  </p><p>So what do you think? agree? disagree? want to yell at me about my horrible spelling?
