<p>The point I am making is Jasper is no different than any other gem, she would be intemidated and scared of a Diamond, thus would blindly follow her like every other Homeworld Gem.
</p><p>Yellow Diamond I am sure is someone that would install fear into any gem weather it is a Jasper, a Peridot, a Pearl, or anyone. I think you are selling Yellow Diamond short on what kind of storke she has over ALL of her subjects.

</p><p>I think You are selling Jasper short by assuming that the is just another unconfident follower. You are actually selling all gems short by assuming that they are all scared, because someone is taller. Are you really trying to boil homeworld down to "they are all just scared, because the Diamonds are taller"?
</p><p>Peridot for example is awestruck by the Diamonds. She admires them for their intellect and is passionate about their plans to expant their empire. And why would Lapis want to return to homeworld, if homeworld society were only based on fear?

<p>So we all saw the leaked promo where Lapis is mad at Peri , right? Lets talk redemption for both Lapis and Jasper. I'll start off with Jasper.

</p><p>Jasper is getting redemption. The crewverse confirmed she would be back and would get delvoplment. We all said that Peridot wouldn't be redeemed, and guess what, she did. So the same goes for Jasper. Even that poster of Steven with Peridot, Lapis, and Jasper confirm it because Lapis is 50% redeemed and Peridot is 100% redeemed, so Jasper is next. Its possible she'll get redeemed through Lapis and Steven, But Jasper is coming back, and she will get the redemption she deserves.
</p><p>Now to move onto Lady Lapis.

</p><p>Lapis is already half way there. Let me list the steps of redemption below :
</p><p>1. Become Friends with Steven (check)
</p><p>2. Ally with the Crystal Gems (check)
</p><p>3. Bond with the Crystal gems (Not yet)
</p><p>4. Become a Crystal Gem (Not Yet)
</p><p>Lapis has completed 2/4 steps on the way to become a Crystal gem. Lapis is allied with them because she has saved them from Jasper and warned them about Peridot and Jasper. It is obvious Lapis is returning because of that leaked promo. She will get her redemption, and even faster than Jasper. Also, there was a picture of Shelby and Jenny recording Lapis and Peridot, so that's also another reason she is returning.
