Redemption for Lapis and Jasper?

<figcaption> </figcaption></figure>Hey guys, <p>So we all saw the leaked promo where Lapis is mad at Peri , right? Lets talk redemption for both Lapis and Jasper. I'll start off with Jasper. </p><p>Jasper : </p><p>Jasper is getting redemption. The crewverse confirmed she would be back and would get delvoplment. We all said that Peridot wouldn't be redeemed, and guess what, she did. So the same goes for Jasper. Even that poster of Steven with Peridot, Lapis, and Jasper confirm it because Lapis is 50% redeemed and Peridot is 100% redeemed, so Jasper is next. Its possible she'll get redeemed through Lapis and Steven, But Jasper is coming back, and she will get the redemption she deserves. </p><p>Now to move onto Lady Lapis. </p><p>Lapis : </p><p>Lapis is already half way there. Let me list the steps of redemption below : </p><p>1. Become Friends with Steven (check) </p><p>2. Ally with the Crystal Gems (check) </p><p>3. Bond with the Crystal gems (Not yet) </p><p>4. Become a Crystal Gem (Not Yet) </p><p>Lapis has completed 2/4 steps on the way to become a Crystal gem. Lapis is allied with them because she has saved them from Jasper and warned them about Peridot and Jasper. It is obvious Lapis is returning because of that leaked promo. She will get her redemption, and even faster than Jasper. Also, there was a picture of Shelby and Jenny recording Lapis and Peridot, so that's also another reason she is returning. </p><p>______________________________ </p><p>I hope Lapis and Jasper do fully redeem like Peridot. If Peridot was able to, they should be able to. </p>

I know you all are going to say that she ended up defending them and called YD a clod, but she still a bad thing. </p><p>Lapis : Attempted to drown two kids, broke Greg's leg, tried to kill the Crystal Gems, STOLE THE OCEAN which could've ended millions of lives, and trapped Jasper in a deadly fusion. I know you all are going to defend her by saying she did it to protect Steven but at the same time she did a bad thing. She trapped Jasper in a deadly fusion, which leads to loosing themselves which leads to something bad happening. Lapis should of thought first before taking action. </p><p>Jasper : Trapped the Crystal Gems and Lapis in the space ship, headbutted Steven, and caused Garnet to retreat. Jasper has only done three things wrong in the series, Lapis has done five, and Peridot has done 6+. Jasper has the done the least and you all are calling her a jerk. Like srsly, Peridot has done multiple stupid and bad things, and you're calling Jasper a jerk!? </p><p>6 reasons, 6 reasons. </p> </i></div>

<p>Let's be fair here, Peridot was not involved in the Fusion Experiments, all she did was several 100 years of REPORTS! </p><p>It is funny at the moment Peridot is more of a good guy than Lapis, who would have thought at the beginning of the season. </p><p>Funny though I think Peridot might have really screwed Jasper's standing with Yellow Diamond. As far as Yellow Diamond knows, there are no other Gems on Earth, just the Homeworld Gems she sent, Peridot and Jasper (I don't know if YD even knows about Lapis, she was never mentioned in "Message Recieved") one of them goes rogue and turns traiter, the weaker one. Would YD think Peridot took out Jasper and turned traiter, no. So what does Yellow Diamond think happened, the two of them are in together? At the very least, Jasper is seen is a epic failure if not a traiter by Homeworld. </p>

<p>Yeah she knew about them and she did reports. She didn't do anything to stop them. She only started to care when she realized she would be stuck on Earth. </p>

<p>That are just technicalities, the audience doesn't really care about gem shards. As far as the audience is concerned, she could have just as well fraud taxes or illegaly downloaded music. </p> <figure class="article-thumb tright show-info-icon" style="width: 300px">

</p><p>Or the scene where she tries to kill all of the CG's, that is for some reason called "Guilty Peridot". She still looks adoreable, but Jasoer looks kinda mean. </p><p>My point is that she is like a vacuum cleaner when it comes to being evil, while Jasper is pretty good at being evil. </p>

<p>Doesn't matter, she still did worse than Jasper ever did, even if she was adorable all those moments, it doesn't make what she did any less horrific. </p>

<p>Yes, it does matter. This is not a court or a parole board. It's not about fairness. It's about how characters appear and are present to the audience. Just show me a shot of Peridot where she looks really mean and evil (If you find one I will propably find one from the same scene where she looks adoreable or funny). </p><p>Jasper is kinda like Colonel. Miles Quaritch from avator. It could only be more apparent that they are total dirtbags, if they where wearing shirts that say:"I am the bag guy." </p>
