<p>Okay I thought of a way to start Jasper's redemption arc. How about Steven heels her gem when they find her.
</p><p>So she is in deed to Steven, so she insists on repaying debt, so she will stick around till that debt is paid, however she says once that debt is paid, they are enemies.
</p><p>So yes you would have start as a temporary alliance like with Peridot, and slowly she will become a Crystal Gem.
</p><p>BTW, I want to see this, Jasper is tailing Steven everywhere he goes, and sees him at the Big Donut, she sees Lars be rude to Steven, and she reacts treaten to kill him. That would be hilarious.

<p>Yeah I know, but that is what makes it funny, Jasper is a fish out of water, because of warrior pride, she is indebted to Steven, and to her Steven is a temporary Diamond, and if someone was rude to Yellow Diamond, it would be common sense to punish them.
