<p>Hey everyone,
</p><p>The old thread got closed becuz it wasn't commented on for a period of time. I made a new one. I know I made a Lapidot one but they don't have any hints and I've learned that.
</p><p>Amedot is a ship that has many hints :
</p><p>1. Anime Trope - A romantic trope in anime is the main character saving their love interest and falling on top of them. This happened with Peridot and Amethyst. Peridot stayed on for a minute or two until Amethyst notified her. Peridot blushed and jumped off, saying landing on her was an accident. Also, Peridot wouldn't of done that for any of the other gems.
</p><p>2. Peridot and Amethyst making up - At the end of the episode, Peridot apologizes. Amethyst forgives her. Peridot shrugs, smiles, and blushes. Then Peridot claims Amethyst makes her feel good and big.
</p><p>3. Peridot trying to flatter Amethyst - When the gems are on the moon, Peridot says that Amethyst's Kindergarten is the best in an obvious attempt to flatter her. Peridot needs to learn how to flirt.</span>
</p><p>'4. Peridot betraying the gems - In Message Recieved, Peri betrays the gems. Amethyst is a character we barley see that upset, and she got really upset. We've only seen her get this upset two times before. Amethyst gets so upset, she can't even think straight. Peridot's betrayal really hurt Amethyst. Also, "After all we went through, shes still out to get us!" What does Amethyst mean by we?<

5. Flirting - The two kinda flirt in the last episode of Bomb 4. Amethyst sneaks up on Peridot with shape shifting, and giggles when Peridot reacts. (Note : It's not the normal laugh she does too) Amethyst then shape shifts into Peridot. Love takes time ; Amethyst took the time to know how Peridot acts like. Peridot then blushes, smirks, and giggles. Amethyst smiles and asks if she has any requests.
</p><p>6. Notice me Senapai - In the same episode that started this ship, after getting back from the scary place, Peridot tries to get Amethyst's attention but Amethyst gives her the cold shoulder. She waves and says, "Oo! Amethyst! Hi hi! Amethyst!" Then after being ignored Peridot claims she feels small.
</p><p>7. Peridot telling her story - During Peridot telling a story, Amethyst is looking at Peridot in a certain way. Also Peridot doesn't look at Amethyst once. But when she does after the shot show's Amethyst's cute face, that's when she begins to fumble on her words and stares a bit until she clears her throat and regains composure.
</p><p>8. Peridot out of character - In Barn Mates, Peridot did say alot of things that she normally does not say. Amethyst says those kind of things usually. Then the gems come back later on… Peridot says “holy smokes”, then Amethyst says it and makes the same face. Like, I really think they have been spending alot of time together.
</p><p>9. Peridot laughing - Peridot's laughing up until Too Far was usually in a evil way. Then in Too Far, she didn't for the first time. She was laughing because Amethyst was laughing.
</p><p>10. Peridot explaining her plan - Peridot is explaining her plans to the gems during a song. When Peridot is looking at Pearl and Garnet and explaining, Amethyst is looking down. When Peridot looks at her, Amethyst looks up at her and smiles.
</p><p>11. Similarities with other ships - I’m going to compare Amedot with two ships that have been confirmed in some way ; Rupphire and Connverse. So all three ships start out awkward. Ruby accidentally bumps into Sapphire, Peridot pokes fun at Amethyst but doesn’t mean to hurt her, and Steven getting the two trapped in the bubble. Then one saves the other one ; Peridot saving Amethyst from the drill and landing on top of her, Ruby pushing Sapphire out of the way from Pearl and accidently fusing with her, and Steven saves Connie from a monster and also lands on top of her. (Also they do close-ups of their faces too) Ruby and Peridot both back away from Sapphire/Amethyst , embarrassed. Saying it was an accident. Then Peridot and Steven both apologize to Amethyst and Connie later on. Connie and Amethyst both forgive them. Welp, I compared them. This also hints that Amedot has a high chance of becoming cannon.
</p><p>Love takes time and work, says Garnet. These two have been friends for about two months now in the time line and are pretty close. Heck, even AJ Universe think they'll become canon. I dunno. :)
I will add more hints later on, as the show goes on, and as you guys gimme more

<p>I'm going to mention the two Amedot scenes in the Summer of Steven Promo
</p><p>In the first scene we see Amedot and Steven hanging out together. It looks like they're at Funland, and it's likely this is Too Short to Ride. I'm not going to make a big deal out of this. Alot of people on Tumblr and even AJ Universe made a big deal out of this. It's just them hanging out, smiling. There's nothing romantic about this. Maybe if Peridot and Amethyst were next to each other, holding hands, but they're not. Moving on to the next Amedot scene..
</p><p>Unlike the 1st Amedot scene, I am going to make a big deal out of this. Even though Steven threw Amethyst, Amethyst could’ve missed Peridot. The writers and Amethyst herself made it intentional to knock Peridot to the ground. What happens after this? Do they accidently fuse? Does Amethyst land on Peridot? Is it just me over theorizing and its nothing? Who knows? We won’t find out until the actual episode airs. Once again, this is Too Short to Ride.

<p>Heck, even AJ Universe thinks this ship will become canon. And his theories are usually right.

<p>I don't think that's the case. </p><p>Or at very least, perhaps we can consider this ship being canon as a high possibility. Yet never absolute/certain. </p>
