Hey SU Wiki users~

As the beginning of “
Summer of Steven” begins to approach, leaks from the episodes have begun to emerge as well. I’m sure you know that our Wiki has a
zero-tolerance policy on this, and that we give warnings to those who post them regardless of whether or not they know it’s a leak. We are creating this message because this is a month-long event, and there will be many users who don’t know if something is a leak or not.

If you’re unhappy that we don’t allow leaks, then we’re sorry, but, surprise, not everyone likes being spoiled before an episode is officially released, not to mention that the creators themselves asked us on the wiki to not support leaks.

Now, where do these leaks come from? Well... Cartoon Network’s server.
For every new episode, CN will store a clip of it in their servers 3 days before its premiere date. These clips contain the first 2 minutes of each episode, which includes the opening animation the episode’s title card, as well as some still images. So far, two of these leaks have surfaced. Many people repost these as “sneak peeks” when they’re really just leaks extracted from CN’s server.

If you are unsure if something is a leak or not, please alert an admin on their message wall with a link to the content. As an FYI, if a “sneak peek” is posted with the intro and/or is posted 3 days before the episode in question is premiering, that you should suspect it as a leak so you don’t accidentally get into trouble.

Additionally, we may be locking episode pages for the Summer of Steven episodes until the actual episodes are released to keep leaked information off episode article pages.

If you have any remaining questions, please feel free to leave them below and we will do our best to answer them.

Anyways, let's get hyped for the new episodes!!!!

Thanks!
