<p>Now that it is confirmed that Rose's sword with one hit would poof a gem, how the heel was Jasper not poofed. Did the helmet save her, did the corrupted gem she was riding take the hit. Any explanation?
</p><p>Jasper is the only gem character who is appeared in more than one episode to never be poofed, so was just lucky, or is there a secret that makes Jaspers harder to poof?

<p>I could be mistaken but I'm not sure it was proven that Rose's sword will one hit any gem. Everything that has been hit by it has sustained a serious enough injury that would warrant poofing no matter what weapon it was. </p><p>Pearl was pooofed in one hit by her hologram's sword but that doesnt make the sword all powerful. It was just a lethal blow. </p>
