I don't want the serie to stretch further than it should. There is a story, there is a plot line, the creators already know where it will develop and end, and how.

But also I don't want the show to end with season five, because I really can't see how they will come to the conclusion of every open plot thread in just 36 episodes.

For example, I never fully enjoyed how Gravity Falls ended. It seemed to me it was a little rushed. I felt like season 2 could have been easily stretched into 2 separated seasons, thickening some plot holes and without adding many fillers. I kinda feel like that was the original intention of the creators, with a full season 2 ending with Stan's arrival and a full season 3 with more details revealed about Bill and the Weirdmageddon.

My hope is that this will not happen to Steven Universe. There are so many details we still don't know, characters that need to be introduced, places we need to see, that it can't be rushed to its end leaving some open questions. I guess it could easily reach season 7 without losing its sparks and best bits. But who knows, we'll see what it will be.

I wouldn't exactly see it continue for a seven season as it would be far impossible, I'm pretty sure that we'll get some detail for some answers would be see soon. but for now, i wouldn't exacity be worrying about a show ending due to the fact that it'll might ruin the chances of ignoring about the series end.
