Rose's pregnancy

<p>I want to know is, how did Rose Quartz and Greg successfully mated even though they are separate species? And why would she want a baby even though she was immortal? More of it all why choose to die and give her gem after Steven was born!? </p>

<p>As for why she wanted a child, well she pretty much stated why in Greg the Babysitter and Lion 4. Gems are made knowing who and what they are, they can't be anything else. Steven was made so that he could live his own life and be anything he wanted to be. </p>

I just think it was a biproduct of the kid she wanted to have. Garnet may not have been able to tell specfically what would happen, but she may have warned Rose what the price would be. </p>
