<p>Me neither, if Pink found her mistakes at some point, was way later after the rebellion </p><p>I was recently thinking about WD shattering her because she thought PD's colony and its issues was too much for homeworld and was leading to a greater revolution (evidence: Bismuth, the gem who only appeared in one episode but serves to justify a lot of PD theories and her breaking point, no WD could not know about this but its evidence that she was right), so she makes her a martyr, to use BD and YD for corrupting gems on earth, destroying the colony, PD's memories and etc, BUT YOU WANT PD REDEMPTION RIGHT? (WARNING fan-fic, skip it if you want) </p><p>Well, after rewatching "Gem drill" one quote from Peridot says basically that shattered gems lost their mind, ergo, their memories, SO, if Steven is actually able to fix shattered gems, then their last memory will be like "i'm shattered, <span style="font-weight:normal;">i'm shattered, </span><span style="font-weight:normal;">i'm shattered, </span><span style="font-weight:normal;">i'm shattered, </span><span style="font-weight:normal;">i'm shattered</span>", also that they are in extremly pain or something </p><p>Then, i imagine that PD's court, horrorized, tries to defend PD, and she is able to take WD's sword away from her gem, BUT, she now has a mortal wound (like a hole that expands with time), so PD escapes from the place, leaving her loyal court behind, who are shattered by WD in the process </p><p>PD abords her ship (hand, legs, wathever) and tries to go to the zoo, the Rose Quartzes that she has bubbled, only if some of them fuse, due to PD's gem size, can heal her gem, that's why the mural from the pyramid temple; seconds before she can enter into light speed, WD is able to damage one of the motors with a clean shot, so PD's ship starts to fly but crashes later (yep, in the dessert) </p><p>Rose is the perfect culprit for this, and WD knows it, so she taked every precaution before to make her look guilty, but Rose doesn't know it yet, she heads to the dessert, like usually and sees some smoke at the distance </p><p>Then, she discovers PD's ship, enters it and found PD, who notice her prescense and exclaims "From all the Rose Quartzes that could help me, you're the one who arrive, GREAT!" (sarcasm), Rose, a little confused, with shield and sword on hands on a defensive position says something like "what makes you think i'm going to help you?" and PD (showing her wound, that is becoming bigger with time (yep, basically the hole that the sword made is expanding while her gem cracks and the only thing that prevent her from poofing is her light-mass, but there's not much time left)) says "it doesn't matter, you alone wouldn't be able" </p><p>Rose decides to but her sword and shield away and PD proceeds to tell her what happend, how WD not only shattered her, but her whole court while they was trying to protect her, how is WD making Rose look guilty and that her gem will turn into shards eventually, basically, PD is basically saying goodbye and Rose is touched by this </p><p>After helping her to get out of her ship, Rose decides to take her to her healing fountain, with one condition, PD must leave earth, Rose knows PD is going to treason her, but she can't just let PD's gem turn into shards and do nothing; PD knows this isn't going to work, but lets Rose try it so Rose's concience can be calm </p><p>They arrive and the fountain is completly empty, PD says that probably the gems on earth are learning what happend and are believing WD's lie too, Rose proceeds to use the fountain but it doesn't works, she cries in PD's gem, but it doesn't work either, PD tells her that she know it wouldn't work, and then, PD just sits, feeling the pain in her gem and waiting for it to become shards, they start talking about why PD created them?, why Rose rebelled?, why a human Zoo?, why earth?, and what are Blue and Yellow going to do with WD when they learn what happend </p><p>Then, during her last hours, PD learns the beauty of the planet she was destroying, and learns how wrong was her for treating the humans like (well, animals, right?), PD decides that her gem can't be wasted, and offers her shards to Rose for powering whatever she wants, then, just in case, writes a document explaining what happend and her last will: give earth to humans, so, if a diamond tried to claim the earth again, she will give them it, so earth will be free (unless, the claimer was WD, off course, but YD and BD would want earth for them, as PD stated) </p><p>PD watches the sunset and feels how her gem is cracking in her last moments, she tells Rose that she's scared, Rose tell her that humans often close their eyes some time after the sunset and that she should do the same, PD closes her eyes, and some time later, her physical form vanishes, leaving a huge pile of shards </p><p>Rose arrives to the in-building crystal temple, and, knowing that telling the truth in this moment would lead to a greater war, lies to Pearl, Garnet, Crazy Lace, Biggs, Snowflake and the rest of the crystal gems, they can't believe it was her, but she explains her reasons, (basically what Garnet said in bubbled), and then, some time later, she proceeds to use the shards in what we know as the crystal heart, the powering device of the crystal temple, and puts PD's document (written in gem, off-course) in a chest (Lion's chest), that is secured in PD's ship with Bismuth's bubble </p><p>Then, a lot of time later, one of Rose's lion mascot dies and Rose cries on him... </p>
