I get it. It's a great show, and we all love it. You have no idea just how much it infuriates me when someone says they don't like the show. But here's the thing: getting mad isn't going to change their minds. No matter how much you may scream, or shout, or ramble, they won't think any differently. They won't, because when they get scolded or yelled at, they feel threatened, it makes them not want to give in, and seeing the way fans of the show act causes them to think the show is even worse if those are the kinds of people who like it. Now, it must be fairly easy to understand someone who says they don't like the show if they're nice about it, or just nice in general. But let's say the person who says this is actually horrible. As in, they hate the show and everything about it, even the fans, and they don't hold back. Youtubers like E;R are some good examples. Well, the thing to remember there is, why do you care what THEY think? You hate them anyways, you know them liking the show wouldn't change anything about them. So why do you care? All people and youtubers like that do is gather up an army of low-life trolls and hatedoms and rant in a corner at nothing for 24 hours. Why do you care about them at all? Just leave these people to be miserable on their own. Don't drag yourselves into these horrendous "communities" just because you feel like you need to defend the show, because you don't. People like this are about as harmful to the show as a wooden spoon is to a tank; no matter how many times they bash it, they never achieve anything. So just ignore haters and trolls.

But as for people who just don't like the show, or perhaps even hate it, but aren't bad people, just calmly and respectfully raise points as to why they should like it, or why they're wrong to dislike it. If that doesn't work, then fine, leave them alone, they've made they're final choice, just as you've made yours. Otherwise, just ignore people who don't share your opinion, because the worse thing you can do is make the fandom look worse than some events already have. But I'll get to THAT later. The point being, just be respectful and nice to everyone, and never try to enforce your opinion on the show. If you make the fandom look nice enough, then maybe, just maybe, they'll change they're minds. But other than that, just always remember the golden rule. :)
