<p>I think it's sardonyx because at the time of William Dewey, Pearl had her hair down in a braid like thing. So that mixed with Garnet's hair who uoy be similar to the long hair of the misterious fusion. </p>

I think it's Sardonyx because the episode was during "The Week of Sardonyx".

<p>Ronaldo theorizes (and keep in mind, this is Ronaldo, who's usually right, and the Crewniverse, who's word means a lot more than some Otaku on the internet) That the Giant Woman in the play is depicted in the cliffside statue, and judging by how this isn't just a one-off thing, but includes illistrations and a few paragraphs, this is clearly the direction the crew wants us to think, and it doesn't make sense to me that they would focus on the Temple Fusion being this gem if it wasn't, you know? </p><p>People can speculate that "Oh, it's a fusion of Rose and Sugilite", or "It's Opal or Sardonyx", but at the end of the day, it seems pretty clear cut who this is intended to be. </p>

<p>Ronaldo was never even there, he doesn't know what he is talking about. Even when he is "right" only a portion of what he ever says is even close to accurate. It is literally impossible for it to not be Opal, Sugilite or Sardonyx because ROSE WASN'T THERE! What more do you need? Seriously. </p>

<p>I think it is the crystal gem temple fusion but they didn't have time to build all the arms. A fusion of Rose Pearl Garnet and Amythest make the gem on the temple, working together to defeat a corrupted gem in the play. </p>

They either didn't have time to do all the arms or they didn't have enough materials

<p>Did you not read what I said? Rose wasn't there when William Dewey discovered Beach City. Rose cannot be apart of the fusion we saw. The fusion is either Sugilite, Opal or Sardonyx.  </p><p>Also for the record the Temple was finished, it broke apart after multiple battles. How do I know this? We see her broken arm on the floor of the beach in the very first episode. </p>

We never saw that fusion unfuse or form. </p><p>Now, due to the production being a play, it may have SEEMED like the monster showed up instantly, but it was pretty clear to me that this was happening much later; during a time Rose could've been there. It's not a for-sure kind of thing, but it's still a possibility that you're disregarding completely! </p><p>About the arms- RockstarHerobrine was talking about the puppet, not the actual Temple itself. When that was built and how much damage has happened to it is irrelevent- The puppet was massive, and Steven and Jamie had to build it on short notice. Maybe they didn't have enough materials or time to make it entirely acurate? </p><p>I can say for sure the fusion isn't Opal or Sugilite-  It's way too tall to be Opal, and the build doesn<i>t resemble Sugilite in the slightest. It's not Rainbow or Smoky for similar reasons. Now Sardonyx I could see- The Hair's off, but she has the build, close-combat fighting style, and relevence to be the right fusion. It could also be a Rose/Garnet Fusion, or heck, even a Rose/Opal, Rose/Sugilite, or Rose/Sardonyx fusion for all we know.</i> </p><p>I'm still going to stick with the Temple Fusion as my primary guess, again because Keep Beach City Wierd is pointing towards that direction. Now I get it- Ronaldo isn't always right, but Ronaldo isn't real- It's the Crewniverse writing, the Crewniverse pointing us towards this answer, and it doesn't make much sense for them to lie about this (It's not like we were even spoiled on her name or abilities- we were just nudged towards which fusion the shadow puppet was supposed to represent, and not much more than that) </p>

<p>honnestly this entire theory is also based on what ifs : </p><p>- Is the representation of the fusion really accurate ? If it was, then why does it lack the characteristic Pearl nose Opal also has ? Did Pearl described exactly how the fusion looked ? If it was really Opal, why didn't she wrote directly that it was Opal ?  </p><p>- Quite a few fusion have been nicknamed "Giant Woman", so why would it be Opal ? Why not a new fusion ?  </p><p>the answer to all these questions is simple, we just don't know so there's no reason to be so adamant about a theory we have barely enough hints to support it. </p>
