</p><p>We know fusion in Steven Universe is based on the relationship between the 2 "fusers", we got:
</p><p>Workmates: Ruby Squad
</p><p>Abusive: Malachite
</p><p>Romantic: Garnet
</p><p>Polyamorous: Fluorite
</p><p>Sibiling: Smoky Quartz
</p><p>Friendship: Stevonnie (counts as "young love" or idk)
</p><p>So, what relationship we are missing?
</p><p>Mother-son relationship off course!
</p><p>I really think Rainbow Quartz will be this way, and i really think this is pretty obvious and you guys thought about it too, but i haven't seen (here) someone mentioning it
</p><p>But why Rainbow Quartz would represent a Mother - Son relationship? well, Pearl is very motherly with Steven, and with the recent events is possible that Pearl becomes even more protective and else
</p><p>Garnet is more like a cool aunt btw
</p><p>So, what do you guys think?
