<p>I'm trying to determine how plausible I think this theory is, but I'll need you to answer two questions. </p><p>1) Who <i>initiated</i> negotiations?  Pink Diamond?  White Diamond?  Someone else?  Usually, formal negotiations are made behind closed doors to talk out terms without interference.  If that is the case, I don't see any reason for Eyeball to present, yet she claims to have witnessed the shattering.  Pearl and Garnet back this up, and I'm not completely sure they'd be there either.  I think the biggest issue here is that if every witnesses' memory is altered, we cannot <i>prove</i> this happened.  Even if Yellow Diamond's memory was spared, she has no reason to divulge such information. </p><p>2) What was the motive for shattering Pink Diamond?  Do you suppose she was shattered because she wanted to negotiate, or something else entirely? </p>

1) i think White Diamond wanted to "invite" Rose to a negoation about the earth, she told Rose the place where the negotiations would take place (near the pink diamonds palanquin, mainly because white wanted to shatter her) and Eyeball is a ruby and rubies are assigned to protect important gems (like sapphire in the episode The Answer) so thats why she could have been there and for Pearl and Garnet to be there i think it they could have accompanied Rose (why would the leader of the rebellion go alone) and for Yellow Diamond, maybe she wanted pink shattered too she hates organic life after all and pink was interested in organic life so Yellow thought this was for the best for homeworld </p><p>2) Maybe Pink Diamond did things wrong like collect humans for the Zoo and White Diamond came to the conclusion that Pink was defective or wrong somehow and wasn't like the other diamonds, maybe Pink didn't want to colonize planets or didn't like how homeworld does things. </p><p>Hope that answers some of your questions and this is just a theory of mine that came to my mind so i decided to share it :D </p>

<p>Rose did want to protect earth, but her sword was designed to destroy gem forms only, but never the gem and everyone claims that she shattered pink with her sword so it doesn't make sense, only thing i could think of Rose doing is poofing Pink Diamond and bubble her, but not destroy her

I'm not opposed to Yellow infiltrating PD's guard, but I doubt that a member of the Ruby caste would be used to guard a gem as important as a Diamond. </p><p>Also, why was Pink Diamond summoned from her palanquin?  Was PD supposed to be part of the negotiations? </p><p>2) I see; I find the former ("defective" or "wrong" for her interest in organic life) more convincing than the latter.  In this way, Pink Diamond is still a villain, but a Diamond could have conspired to shatter her in a way that involves scapegoating RQ. </p>

PD! (she had that creepy wicked smile and everything) </p><p>But, the clues become blurry with the time, why someone entirely evil would kill another entirely evil being? what the hell was PD doing "wrong" to get herself shattered by one of the diamonds? something doesn't fit there, not necessairly with PD being some sort of neutral evil, but still </p>

</p><p>and here is a scenario/story how Pink Diamond would be shattered: </p><p>Pink Diamond was the newest member of the great Diamond authority, but Yellow and White did not like how she acted and did things, the diamonds hated organic life, but Pink was interested in it so White Diamond would come up with a plan to shatter her. White Diamond would inform Rose Quartz of a peace negotiation that would take place near Pink Diamond's palanquin, Rose suspected something was up and decided to take Garnet and Pearl with her, meanwhile White Diamond arrived to talk about something with Pink Diamond, she called her out from her palanquin (Pink Diamond was the newest member of the Diamond authority, so she did what the oldest member of the authority asked of her, think of it like its your boss asking you to come talk or something like that) and as soon Rose arrived, White Diamond would shatter Pink Diamond (Eyeball could be somewhere near this incident like guarding some sapphire with her squad) then White Diamond used her powers to manipulate everyones memories there so it would seem Rose shattered Pink Diamond. Rose, Garnet and Pearl in shock they would leave and everybody else there would be in panic. </p><p>Hope you enjoyed the story :P </p>
