<p>I read a comment in the page of the Rutile twins and i got "inspired"
</p><p>Fusion is a thing in Steven Universe's universe
</p><p>When 2 gems of the same type fuse, the result is a slighty larger gem that looks just like the others of its gem type
</p><p>The rutile twins are basically siamese
</p><p>So, if they fuse, Will they be just a slighty larger Rutile?
</p><p>What do you guys think?

<p>I was actully thinking about this the other day.
</p><p>Many people say they are like the cluster gems, two gems that where merged into one. However, it's been implied that they are actully <i>one </i>Rutile that split into two juring formation.
</p><p>So I don't think they can "fuse" together. But (assuming there not Era 2s) they could use shapeshifting to merge themselves into one.
</p><p>That's what I think anyway.
