ALL POSTSSmoky Quartz ISN'T a Smoky Quartz?
<p>In "Earthlings", Smoky Quartz says "I think a Rose Quartz, and an Amethyst make a... Smoky Quartz." In "A Single Pale Rose", it was revealed that Rose Quartz is actaully Pink Diamond. If a Rose Quartz and an Amethyst make a Smoky Quartz, does this mean that Smoky Quartz <i>isn't</i> actually a Smoky Quartz gem becuase they are made up of an Amethyst and Pink Diamond? This goes for Rainbow Quartz as well. Comment your thoughts down below.

<p>Rebecca has said in a podcast (idk which one) that Garnet named herself, so we can assume that's universal. Smoky is still Smoky Quartz, because it's the name she chose.

<p>But Smoky Quartz didn't choose that name. They knew that a Rose Quartz and an Amethyst make a Smoky Quartz. Also, Smoky Quartz uses they/them pronouns. I realized I made that mistake too after I read your message. </p>
