<p>When Greg with Pink Diamond, Steven and Connie are going to be married. He decided to head back to Homeworld and throw another parties called, Era 3 Wedding, and the coronation for humans and Gems come together. On the first party: the Era 3 Wedding, the Diamonds including Pink Diamond with her husband Greg and her two Pearls on the thrones, Gems and humans on the floor, Bismuth with pink wedding rings and the rest of the Crystal Gems, Off Colors, and healed Corrupted Gems. The Singing Stones will sing the "Bridal Chorus" the Aquamarines open the curtain, then Lion came with two Pebbles threw the flowers and the rest of the Pebbles holds the bridal gown with Connie came. Pink announced everyone that Era 3 continues which Gems and humans come together just like she loves Greg. Bismuth gave the rings to Steven and Connie. Pink will say, "I pronounce you husband and wife. Now you may kiss." Everyone cheers Connie's parents crying also Steven's first cousin once removed Andy, Great Uncle and aunt, Great Aunt Deb, grandparents, and great-grandfather crying also. Then the next day on the second party is Steven's and Connie's coronation that she will be a new matriarch of the Great Diamond Authority. Pink Diamond announced everyone her and Greg's son Steven has done many things at their home planet Earth and says, "but today Steven and Connie has done extraordinary, proving without a doubt with Homeworld's new monarch and matriarch. Ladies and gentlemen, may I present for the very first time, the Diamond couple Steven and Connie Universe." Then the curtain opens and Steven and Connie the Diamond couple came and stopped in front of Pink, Pearl and Pink Pearl pull the cloth and have two small thrones next to each other of Pink's throne. Steven and Connie are so happy and sat down and everyone cheers and on back on Earth, the leaders around the world signed the treaty with the relationships between the planets Earth and Gem Homeworld and the universe will bring peace.

<p>We might have to wait for like towards the end of a season or maybe the series itself for that too happen though, as Steven and Connie didn't meet until "Fusion Cuisine", which means it's only been a year and a half since they met (despite being in the intro in earlier episodes), and you need at least 2 years of being together to be married, like Ruby and Sapphire have been together for the past 5000+ years already, but only got married in "Reunited"

<p>Actually, they met in Bubble Buddies....way before that, doing stuff together in Lion 2: The Movie, An Indirect Kiss, and Mirror/Ocean Gem before Fusion Cuisine so it's been like really close two years now...if not two years already.

<p>Well actually you can and I believe some people do...but...yeah that's weird. Yes it can, and we have seen that with Steven and Connie....whether they are ready for marriage (which they are not, they're kids, that would be wrong and there hasn't really been any real romance aide from crushing oneach oher yet) is another thing. On the matter of whether there relationship has been developed enough that they can understand each other....you might want to rewatch um every episode they are together, we see that this easily grows and strengthens, (to name a few specific episodes: Bubble Buddies, Lion 2: the Movie, An Indirect Kiss, Alone Together, Open Book, Full Disclosure, Sworn to the Sword, Steven's Birthday, Mindful Education, Rocknaldo, the New Crystal Gems, Gem Karaoke (the short), Kevin Party, Jungle Moon, Together Alone, Escapism, and Change Your Mind). They are definitely there by Kevin Party, maybe even by Mindful Education. (yes they do have their falling out for a few episodes in early Season 5, but they eventually talk about how they really feel and decide to stay jam buds.)

<p>I think the rule with having a good marriage is that if you just met then you should get to know each other then after a while, if you want to, date for at least a year then you can consider marriage. Of course that number is different for everyone, a year is just a good number. Either way the rule doesn't apply to Steven and Connie, they're best friends and if they wait for Connie to turn at least eighteen they'll have known each other for at least seven years give or take so they just have to go on a few dates to decide if they want to marry or stay friends.

<p>yeah, true, it was just the way you said it like 2 years is the time for everyone. I think that for most people 2-3 is probably right, but some may consider at 1.
