Like, from now on, say a gem gets poofed. Amethyst gets impaled or whatever and poofs. Steven could rush in, or pull in her gemstone with his bubble, fuse with her, and now not only is she back within seconds, but now Smoky’s here, they’re even more powerful. </p><p>If a gem gets poofed, that should leave them vulnerable for a long time. It’s not just an outfit change, it’s recovering from a fatal injury. Steven being able to force them back with little to no consequence removes the tension. </p>

<p>Two more: 'What's the use of feeling, Blue?' is the worst song. It completely breaks RS's model of 'characters only sing when they have something important to say' because it doesn't tell us anything new. We knew Blue missed Pinky D and was sad. We knew Yellow was all 'rawr I deal with my feelings through angerz!' All it does is serve as a lore-dump about what some different gems are for. Plus DD-Magno-H (due to Yellow Pearl's nasal voice) channels Bugs Bunny. Plus-plus the main instrument is that 'Diamond theme' wheezing synth-organ-bagpipe-thing, which I dislike.
</p><p>Next one: Steven's healing powers is a massive problem. Narratively, they've just written themselves into a corner. Unless Steven has another 'oh noes my powers' moment, literally any damage can be healed. Even death. Where's the legitimate danger? He smooched the Earth back to health! He resurrected Lars! He fixed Greg's arm! At least before when it was hit-and-miss (mostly miss) it avoided this problem. Steven can literally now heal anything and everyone!

<p>Unpopular Opinion(that I had bottled up for so long now I'm gonna share it)
</p><p>The SU movie should have added another 30 minutes to make it 2 hours.
</p><p>The deleted Peridot tap dancing scene is added, How Lapis tried to move the injector herself with giant hands from the ocean is shown. And this...
</p><p>Spinel should have said "How comedic and now this is where your story ends! Goodbye Steven Universe" and let Steven fall instead of saying "how could a powerful loser be savior of the galaxy". Steven will have a dramatic inner monologue in a slow-mo fashion as he falls to his demise and realized that "he failed and this is how his story ends I'm sorry" only to discover "the power to change" through a flashback and/or ephipany. Spinel will then say "Welp now that's over phew. And this is how the legendary Steven Universe falls and the chapter ends am I right?(creepy face glance at the viewers)" and say whatever and laughs but behind her Steven appears floating and goes on a speech about change.
</p><p>The Change Song and fight scene remains unchanged although it might extend a bit longer except after the "you just can't make everything better by singing some stupid song" and punch scene, The impact hits Steven's head and go unconscious. Spinel goes on a beatdown on an unconscious Steven while saying the "you change for the better but I changed for the worst" line. In a suprise this prompts Pink Gem Steven to take over Steven's human body (signifying the pink glow all over his body with pink hair, like a saiyan does and Diamond Eyes) and say "You shouldn't have suggested that singing won't work so why not I "change" my options then" and goes all out on Spinel and overwhelming her with two new abilities. Disassembling the polygon shield like a shattered glass and use it as projectiles and a barrage of exploding pink bubbles.
</p><p>PS possessed Steven grabs a weakened Spinel as she says "do it end me I deserved it" and closes her eyes while shedding a single tear waiting for her fate. Since this is SU (where pacifism always wins) staying true to the code, inside Steven's mind Human Steven stops Pink Steven from finishing off Spinel. Pink Steven and Human Steven made a short but civil arguement regarding about happily ever afters, finishing the job and future problems. In the end Human Steven sucessfully pleads Pink Steven to not finish her off and regains control of himself letting her go. Steven then says "No this isn't the way. I'm not gonna end you. You deserve a second chance" The "but what about your happily ever after and in the end i'll always have a job to do part", Spinel saying sorry to Steven remains the same but they are still on top of the injector. One extra scene where Steven gives a hand to Spinel and then they hug is added as the injector explodes. Both of them arrive safe and sound with a pink barrier but in a dramatic and graceful manner.
</p><p>The rest of the movie proceeds normally as always do. That will be all! Any thoughts on this? My shield is up and ready. Please don't hit me.

In a suprise this prompts Pink Gem Steven to take over Steven's human body (signifying the pink glow all over his body with pink hair, like a saiyan does and Diamond Eyes) and say "You shouldn't have suggested that singing won't work so why not I "change" my options then" and goes all out on Spinel and overwhelming her with two new abilities. Disassembling the polygon shield like a shattered glass and use it as projectiles and a barrage of exploding pink bubbles. </p><p>PS possessed Steven grabs a weakened Spinel as she says "do it end me I deserved it" and closes her eyes while shedding a single tear waiting for her fate. Since this is SU (where pacifism always wins) staying true to the code, inside Steven's mind Human Steven stops Pink Steven from finishing off Spinel. Pink Steven and Human Steven made a short but civil arguement regarding about happily ever afters, finishing the job and future problems. In the end Human Steven sucessfully pleads Pink Steven to not finish her off and regains control of himself letting her go. Steven then says "No this isn't the way. I'm not gonna end you. You deserve a second chance" The "but what about your happily ever after and in the end i'll always have a job to do part", Spinel saying sorry to Steven remains the same but they are still on top of the injector. One extra scene where Steven gives a hand to Spinel and then they hug is added as the injector explodes. Both of them arrive safe and sound with a pink barrier but in a dramatic and graceful manner. </p><p>The rest of the movie proceeds normally as always do. That will be all! Any thoughts on this? Unpopular Opinion(that I had bottled up for so long now I'm gonna share it) <p>The SU movie should have added another 30 minutes to make it 2 hours. </p><p>The deleted Peridot tap dancing scene is added, How Lapis tried to move the injector herself with giant hands from the ocean is shown. And this... </p><p>Spinel should have said "How comedic and now this is where your story ends! Goodbye Steven Universe" and let Steven fall instead of saying "how could a powerful loser be savior of the galaxy". Steven will have a dramatic inner monologue in a slow-mo fashion as he falls to his demise and realized that "he failed and this is how his story ends I'm sorry" only to discover "the power to change" through a flashback and/or ephipany. Spinel will then say "Welp now that's over phew. And this is how the legendary Steven Universe falls and the chapter ends am I right?(creepy face glance at the viewers)" and say whatever and laughs but behind her Steven appears floating and goes on a speech about change. </p><p>The Change Song and fight scene remains unchanged although it might extend a bit longer except after the "you just can't make everything better by singing some stupid song" and punch scene, The impact hits Steven's head and go unconscious. Spinel goes on a beatdown on an unconscious Steven while saying the "you change for the better but I changed for the worst" line.
