When Steven said “39 states” I think he meant 49, because he already lives in Florida.</i></div>
Actually, Florida isn't confirmed to exist in SU. In "Reunited", it's revealed by Steven that he lives in the state "Delmarva". It's not a real state. So there very well could be 39 states in Steven's world. Plus, Connie would've corrected him</div>Actually, Florida is confirmed to exist as in mr universe greg mentions that his parents go to florida island ever winter.</div>Yeah. Florida ISLAND. Florida's a state, not an island. So the STATE Florida doesn't exist in Steven Universe, but an island called "Florida Island" exists in Steven Universe</div>WHen Peridot and Steven were drilling to the core, peridot shows him a map of the cluster and it’s located where Florida should be.</div>BUT THEY DON'T LIVE IN FLORIDA! THEY LIVE IN DELMARVA! FLORIDA'S AN ISLAND IN SU! KEYSTONE'S A STATE IN SU! DELMARVA'S A STATE IN SU! THERE'S NO STATE OF FLORIDA IN STEVEN UNIVERSE! DELMARVA'S A COMBINATION OF DELAWARE, MARYLAND, AND VIRGINA! CHECK ON THE WIKI! GO TO LOCATIONS! FIND DELMARVA, CLICK IT, AND READ THE ARTICLE!</div>Why can't it be a state too? Why does Florida being an island in this universe mean it can't be a state as well?</div>I'm done talking about this
</div>
<p>It could be and it could be not, we don't have any confirmation to argue with facts about the subject
