<p>So in the finale of Future, Steven turns into a big kaiju monster as you all know. A lot of ppl speculate that it was corruption, but is it rly? We've seen a gem undergoing corruption, which was Jasper. With Jasper, the corruption was slow, and manifested as she lashed out at Steven, eventually losing complete control before being poofed by Peridot. However, with Steven's corruption, it was pretty much instantaneous. When Jasper was getting corrupted, we saw her start to develop turquoise patches and spikes on her body, but with Steven, a bunch of spikes just erupted out of his back. We know that intense emotions are able to corrupt a gem, but the problem is that Steven's half human, and humans obviously can't get corrupted. The monster was a result of how Steven felt; a monster. With the huge light thing from the Diamonds, the gems got corrupted regardless, but Steven was already going through and has been through a lot. I might be right about this, I might be wrong, but I wanna hear y'all's thoughts and opinions about this. </p>
