Death doesn't discriminate between SU and Titans GO! It takes, and it takes, and it takes. History obliterates, and every picture it paints, it paints us in all our mistakes. When SUF announced and we leaped so high, it may have been the first one to die, but now it's gone and we can't move on. Now it's gone and we can't move on... Now we're lost in the universe, you see. We were too young and blind to see. We should've known. We should've known the world was wide enough for both Steven Quartz and me. It's over, isn't it? Why can't I move on?

And thanks, I've found my favorites end up being the most emotional and mature in theme and plot, that's where Steven Universe excels.

Me too! I am very attracted to emotional episodes.

The show's ability to tug at your heartstrings while delivering a complex and deep story will always be appreciated. Apparently, we both think so.

If a show can do that, it's truly something special. Steven Universe rocks.

Don't forget episodes like Rose's Scabbard, On The Run, A Very Special Episode, I Am My Monster, and Log Date 7152! Also Change Your Mind, of course

I've lost a lot of my interest and passion in the show after Future, but I will say this: Steven Universe (excluding Future) had a stunning aesthetic and colour palette. Just looking at screenshots from old episodes, you can tell they worked hard on the scenery.

What was wrong with Future?

Most things, such as interesting characters being one-offs (what happened to "no one-off characters"?) but mainly the ending is what was terrible about it.

As much as I liked Future there were annoying parts like the one-off characters and honestly I think they should've focused on Steven's therapy sessions for the last ten or so episodes. While I get that Rebecca Sugar wanted to give them "privacy", I don't think that's the mindset is a correct one. Not only do kids need to see that therapy is good and normal and should be treated like any doctor's visit but, much like what originally happened with the Diamonds, since we didn't see Steven get better over the course of several episodes, we can't exactly be sure that Steven really is ok to live on his own.
