Great fans like the same things

<p>I wanted to see a Lapidot fusion, but it never happened. I don't see why Peridot wouldn't be able to  fuse, I mean if Humans can fuse with Steven then why wouldn't an Era 2 Gem be able to fuse with other Gems? </p>

<p>A) Humans can fuse with Steven because Steven is part human and part gem, and B) that is not possible beacuse Peridot siad and I quote her from the epiosde  Too Short  to Ride "My lack of skill is an objective fact. I'm an Era-2 Peridot. I am new. Resources are dwindling on Homeworld. They can't make Gems like they used to. That's why they give Era-2 Peridots technological enhancements because we... don't have powers." And also do you think if asked Rebecca Sugar like with Stevonnie would have said that Peridot would have other powers a side from her metal powers </p>

Connie and Greg don't have Gem powers because they're human, so if Peridots lack of powers stops her fusing then Connie and Gregs should as well. If Steven being half human allows humans to fuse with him despite haveing no Gem powers, then the same princible should apply to Peridot fusing with other Gems due to them being Gems. </p>
