The discussions ave been implemented for a few weeks now and the users have gotten more familiar with the system, so in a short time we will be expecting users to be following the discussion's guidelines.
The guidelines can be found not only on the "Welcome to the community!" tab, but also directly below the chat window when creating a new post.
Keep in mind that everything found within the wiki's Rules and Regulations is also applicable to the discussion boards.
Users will also be expected to use the appropriate category for their posts. A description of what each category is used for is found within the guidelines. The categories are listed in ascending order of importance, meaning that if a post seems that it would fit multiple categories, it should be placed in the lower category.
A couple of examples;
A Steven Universe related meme seems as though it could be placed in the "Steven Universe" or the "Fun" categories. In a case like this, it would be placed in "Fun" as it is a meme.
Any form of poll related to Steven universe, like a "Who is your favorite character" or "Who would win in a fight?" poll would also be placed in the "Fun" category.
Any sort of character creator, such as the Gemsona Maker, would fall into the "Fun" category, as it is he product of an online flash game.
Editing or drawing over a render from the wiki to create an original character would fall under "Creative" though it would be appreciated if mentioned that it is an edit.
Again, I have to reiterate that ART THEFT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED, claiming another person's art as your own or tracing/creating a render of someone's art can very easily be uncovered and is a punishable offence.
Also a reminder that INFOBOX IMAGE VOTES are still suspended until further notice, thank you for the patience! Please contact an admin on their message wall if you have any suggestions or proposed edits.
In summary; Please read and follow the guidelines :)
