Yeah same. Jinx Monsoon seemed to have a lot of fun with it. She totes deserved at least one in-person appearance. Just another example of the things I really think they could’ve done more with.

I think Emerald's limited appearance is a casualty of the show not having enough time.

Though she was a great one-off antagonist, by the time Emerald was introduced the series was only a few episodes away from the Heart of the Crystal Gems arc (which of course entailed the end of the original series).

Since the movie and Future were so focused, the only way I could see Emerald getting more focus with the time the series had was with either a comic or another series focusing on the Off-Colors.

^ That'd be my guess, too. Which is too bad, as she had all the makings of a really fun character. She's my birthstone, too, and sometimes I'm a little jealous of the people whose birthstones are, you know, Garnet or Peridot or Opal.

And yeah i find it annoying that she appeared on steven universe for about 10 seconds.
