I just assumed that other Gems could have double gemstones too, not realizing she was a fusion.

Me too I'm just like so gems can have 1 gem or 2 gems

I have always thought that she was one of those gems who somehow was created at the same spot another gem was and ended up sharing a body

I thought she was born like that
