After I found out that Greg's parents were authoritarian, Greg found the CD that he was looking for, he and Steven are driving back home, listening to Kerry Moonbeam CD, Greg was moved by the song and Steven was not, Steven snaps about his last name coming from a song and Greg is explaining how he ran away from his parents, Steven brings up that he could've grown up in a house and Greg disagrees with his son's statement, Steven also brings up that his parents weren't so bad and Greg was just like Rose which sets off his pink state, Greg disagrees again, saying that everything he liked was always wrong to his parents and he tells Steven that he grew up with freedom, and Steven brings up again that he never went to school or the doctor just like other humans, but Greg tells Steven that he's a gem and not like other kids, Steven snaps in anger as he rips the steering wheel and crashing the van, After the crash, Greg fails to take his son's beliefs and tells Steven that he's proud of him.
