So, I've been thinking about this lately, does lightning on Earth affect a Gem the same way as a Gem Destablizer? Like, will it make the Gem poof? Can anyone tell the community the science behind this and confirm my theory?
Garnet can't get effected because she has electric resistance because of her powers, but I'm not sure for other Gems. Probably not since they don't share the same power as her.
Disclaimer: I mean like natural lightning, like a strike of lightning during thunderstorms, which I believe Peridot is afraid of, does it destablize a Gem the same way a Destablizer does?
Gems' bodies are made of light so maybe they won't be affected. However, while gemstones are typically not good conductors of electricity, the heat from lightning can definitely damage (or maybe even destroy) their gemstone.
Converse Question: Would humans be harmed by the distablizer (or Yellow's lightning)? Steven was harmed because he's half gem but what would it be like to humans? Does it feel like normal lightning or just nothing?
