So it was great to have seen some new Steven Universe episodes, and at a weekly basis too, but now that its on hiatus again, it has inspired me to come up with MY OWN ideas for episodes of Steven Universe.

#1: An episode that explores Steven’s ability to fuse with humans, where in this case, he accidently fuses with Lars and they cannot unfuse for some reason.

We’ve only seen Steven fuse with Connie, so I thinks its time we see him fuse with another human, and I think Lars is the perfect candidate. Think about it, Lars barely shows any kindness towards Steven, so an episode where he has to spend a lot of time with Steven would be interesting cause we could see him warm up to Steven more, thus showing some character development. Another idea for this episode is that Steven (as well as SU fans) learns about some of Lar’s childhood, and see what made him act the way he is to people. Plus its been forever since Lar’s been in a episode so this would kill two birds with one stone

#2: A flashback episode that shows what the Gems lives were like on Earth before the Gem Rebellion.

In this episode we could see what the gems thought about Earth at first, see Rose learning to love and care for the creatures of Earth, and what “the last straw” was that led Rose and the other Crystal Gems to turn on there own people. There could be a small fight scene of a multiple gem vs. gem combat. This might not happen yet as it might be to early to show the prelude of the gem rebellion, so the directors might be saving that idea for another season.

An episode like this would be perfect for a season finale.

#3: A flashback episode based entirely about Peridot after she landed back on Earth after escaping from her ship in “Jail Break”, trying to adjust to Earth while looking for a way to escape.

An idea I had for an episode like this is we see Peridot looking for other Gem experiments and Gem tech in places we haven’t seen before to find a gem ship and/or contact Yellow Diamond so she can get off Earth before the Cluster emerges, but keeps being interrupted by a lost baby creature (like a fox or wolf perhaps) that has quickly grown fond of her. At first she tries to ignore the creature but eventually after a series of events, she saves the creatures from a corrupted gem/gems and shows signs that she has warmed up to the creature a bit, while still keeping a cold demeanor. Eventually the creatures reunite it with its family but not before saying goodbye to Peridot.

This could show that she had potential to be good before she allied herself with the Crystal Gems and later join them, and another reason why she said the Earth was worth protecting when she was talking to Yellow Diamond.

#4: Another Ruby and Sapphire episode. I know one was recently released but its always fun to see Ruby and Sapphire. One idea I had for an episode is that Garnet must defuse back to Ruby and Sapphire in order to complete a mission with Steven. Here is one idea I had for an episode

Garnet needs Steven’s powers to aid her in a very special mission. Once they get to there destination, Garnet diffuses into Ruby and Sapphire, which shocks Steven. He then learns the mission is to find a corrupt Gem. When they find it, Ruby and Sapphire go all out on it and when the corrupt gem physical form gives in, they planned on destroying the gem for good but Steven stops them and asks why they were doing this. It turns out the corrupt gem they were fighting was an soldier of Yellow Diamond who had personally hurt and tortured Ruby and Sapphire in the past, all because she disliked the reason on why they stay fused. Ruby and Sapphire grow a great hatred for that gem so they spend much time looking for her (which could be the reason why Garnet goes on solo missions by herself). When they finally found there old enemy, they had planned on destroying it, but Steven convinces them not to as it would make them worse then there enemy. This convinces Ruby and Sapphire to not destroy the gem, they then fuse back into Garnet and say they are proud of Steven.

#5: An episode where Steven and the Gems experiment with trying to cure the corrupted gems.

So we know that Steven’s healing powers works on living beings and Gems and we know that Steven’s mom had tried to help the corrupted gems when she was alive, but since then the directors never made a episode that follows up on Steven or the Gems trying to help the corrupted gems, or an episode that explains what truly happened that caused the other gems to change into these monstrous forms, so maybe its time we get an episode that finally explains it.

The episode could start with Steven reuniting with Centipeedle, and after hearing about what caused Centipeedle to be what he is from the Gems, Steven with the help of the Gems begin to try and heal him. Maybe a part of the episode could take place at Rose’s Fountain.

It would also be interesting to see how Peridot would react to seeing the corrupt gems, as maybe she read something from homeworld that explained how the gems changed into their monstrous forms.

#6: An episode about Onion and what he does on an average day in Beach City

We still don’t know much about Onion so wouldn’t it be interesting to see what he does on an average day?

#7: An episode where Connie goes on a mission with the Crystal Gems.

In season 2, we got to see Connie train to be a swordsman by Pearl, so maybe we see her take the next step and go on a mission with the gems. In the episode we can see how the Gems try to adjust to having another fragile human on there team as well as see how Connie deals with working with a team who has had more combat experience then her, and don’t always cooperate with one another.

The main thing I want to see come out of an episode like this is for the Crystal Gems to make Connie and official member of the Crystal Gems, cause I think somewhere in the “guide to the crystal gems” book, its said that anyone who believes in Rose Quartz’s beliefs can join the Crystal Gems, and Connie definitely believes in the same thing as Rose.

Not only would it be cool for Connie, a full blooded human, to join the Crystal Gems, but to see the directors make that part of the book canon within the show.

#8: An episode where Steven makes his dad and Pearl spend time together.

So I’ve noticed that out of all the times Greg has interacted with the Crystal Gems (including flashback of when he was younger), he has spent the least amount of time with Pearl, and I don’t blame him since they weren’t exactly friends when he hung out with Rose and I bet things between them got even worse when Rose “died” to bring Steven into the world.

However, what if after noticing all the awkwardness between the two, Steven makes the 2 spend the day with him doing things. The episode could show them trying to get along for Steven’s sake, doing things together but at the end Pearl gets into an argument with Greg about how he took Rose from her and still blames him for it, which makes Greg agree with her, saying that he still blames himself for Rose dying. This makes Pearl realize that after all that time blaming Greg she never thought about how he felt about losing Rose. In the end Pearl apologizes and the two become closer, but there is still some awkwardness between the two.

#9: An episode where Steven gets invited to a teen party and tries to make all his teen friends be friends with one another.

We seen that Steven has a knack of befriending people that are older then him, so it would be interesting to see how Stevens other older friends, like Ronaldo, Sadie, and maybe Jamie would interact with Buck, Jenny, and Sour Cream. Another element we could see is how Lars gets nervous as he tries to deal with this non popular friends interact with the cool kids.

#10: An episode where Steven convinces Peridot and Lapis to interact with the city folk at some sort of festival.

So we know that the Crystal Gems mostly isolate themselves from humans, except for a few occasions, but we’ve barely seen Peridot or Lapis interact with any humans, so an episode where Steven brings them to a festival to socialize with humans would be interesting. The episode could show the Gems having trouble understanding Earth culture, as well as see the 2 gems interact with other characters from the show, like Peridot dealing with Ronaldo and maybe Lapis meeting and befriending someone like Sadie or Jamie. I’m also cool with a similar idea where all 5 gems go to a festival and try to interact with the citizens of Beach City

Something like this might happen with Peridot in the upcoming episode "Too Short to Ride"

This next part is for an idea I had for a story arc of the Steven Universe series, maybe a good filler arc if one is ever needed.

The arc is about how after all the latest odd activity in Beach City, plus Ronaldo posting things about the Gems on his blog, the U.S. government, or a secret world organization, that have known that the Earth was colonized by gems for hundreds of years, come to Beach City to apprehend the Gems, and there tech and put them into a secure location for questioning/imprisonment.

Through the Arc the gang deals with things, like the gems dealing with the fact that humans are more skilled and powerful then they thought, Lapis and Peridot dealing with being prisoners of the humans beings when they gave up there old lives to protect the Earth (especially Lapis who could be having a relapse of being a prisoner again), Steven struggling with if he should side with the humans or the gems, and the most important issue is the Gems having trouble trusting humans again, after spending there lives protecting them.

While I’m listing ideas, I had an interesting idea for the show that I know will never happen on the show, but is still interesting to spread the idea. What if a non-gem extraterrestrial character joins the show? I had the idea for an alien who is one of the last surviving members of his race after the gems destroyed his home planet and now wants nothing but a mix of justice and vengeance against the gem empire

He could be a galactic warrior/soldier with an arsenal of advanced alien weapons and gadgets (or better yet gem technology he scavenge to make weapons against the gems). Anyway after picking up signals of Gems being on a backwater planet, (Earth), he goes to destroy them so that world doesn’t suffer the same place as his planet. However after countless attacks on the gems throughout the season, he has some moments with Steven, since he sees that he isn’t like the other gems and has more respect for him then the others. Then in one episode, after seeing the Gems protect humans with his own eyes, he finally accepts that not all gems are bad and becomes an ally of the Crystal Gems. I like this cause it would introduce another extraterrestrial element to the show as well as show that the Gems have destroyed other worlds with life on them, just like the Diamond Authority was going to do with Earth. There have been theories that the gems were made by another alien race and are at war with them, maybe something like this could confirm that theory.

So what do you think of my ideas ? Which ideas would you like to see be made into an actual episode.
