Why is her gem shown to be a triangle when she was poofed whilst corrupted but when uncorrupted she has two gems on her eyes
I wonder why these corrupted gems weren't in the series in their uncorrupted form in both "Change your Mind", the movie, and Future.
Watermeleon Tourmaline is a natural fusion gem similar to The Rutile Twins or the Cluster Gems

<p>I really hope that this watermelon tourmaline is like the rutile twins and is a natural cluster gem because i don't want this to be the actual design because then the corrupted form could be different for a non-clustered one
</p><p>(I actually like the design for Steven Universe Future, it's very unique so i'm not saying i hate the design)

- The image comes from official artwork drawn by crew member Nicole Rodriguez.
- The proposed image does a better job at presenting Watermelon's proportions, and shows off that she has four arms much better than the current.
- Although we haven't seen much of her personality otherthan the fact that she seems to be outgoing; the image shows Watermelon in that attitude.
- Colors are corrected.

<p>Okay. No one talking about this. Orange Spodumene and Watermelon Tourmaline has new desings, right? So, why we don't change them infobox images? Why them new desings appears in Minor Characters/Gems?
</p><p>If all of these redesing things are lie, why we changed Crab Gem Monster, Larimar and Jasper's infobox image with new desings?

<p>Okay, before I start I'd just like to say that I really hope no one's come up with this theory yet. That would be really embarassing. But if they have, I'd like to know so I can see if I missed any evidence or if I found something that they haven't.
</p><p>Alright, so you all remember Watermelon Tourmaline, don't you? She's the pufferfish from Beach Party.

<figcaption> <p class="caption">GDA's symbol in Jail Break, this time with color</p> </figcaption></figure>I know that the creators take great care in selecting the right gems for their characters (assuming Matt's comment about throwing darts at a board with gem names on it was just a joke) so the gem chosen for this character will have a special meaning related to the character.
<p>I did some research, and it turns out that Watermelon Tourmaline is said to "remove imbalances (and guilt) caused by conflicts and confusions"
</p><p>Then I realized that the gemstone I think belongs to WT is split between the two colors instead of having them in rings like this type of gem usually does. The colors that it's split between also stood out to me.
</p><p>I think that the pink represents Pink Diamond (who is widely theorized to be Rose Quartz) and that the green represents the other diamonds (yellow, blue, and white). Together, the two colors represent the two sides of the war. In a way that ironically echoes the real life gem's assosiations, Watermelon Tourmaline was conflicted and confused about which side to take. What if that caused her to be corrupt? What if all corrupt gems are the way they are because of some kind of inner turmoil?

I was looking at the Watermelon Tourmaline page, and I noticed it's color scheme. Pink on the bottom, and greenish-blue on top. These color's are Rose's (Pink) and Lapis' (Greenish-Blue). Could there be a connection? Since, we know Cluster was once a (few) Gem(s), so could it also have a connection? Discus! <figure class="article-thumb tright show-info-icon" style="width: 398px">

Now, that would have been a lot for one episode, but it's going to be the WEEK of Sardonyx. </p><p>It would be so epic because it can reveal many different things: </p><p>1. Steven regained his healing powers. </p><p>2. Corrupted Gems can decorrupt. </p><p>3. Who at least one of the monsters had been. </p><p>
