<p>Recently, I discovered this new Tumblr blog called Give Greg a Boyfriend. You can probably tell what the blog is all about by the way. </p><p>After Future Boy Zoltron aired, the user who runs the blog decided it was nice we were getting some male LGBT characters in the show: Mr. Smiley and Mr. Frowny. But they are just side characters and are not really important to the show. </p><p>In this show, we have more "female" LGBT characters than we do male characters. Yes I know gems are sexless, but they have feminine traits. Besides, there's the Mystery Girl. The person who runs the blog also explained that today in children's cartoons, there are more lesbian characters than male gay characters. Adventure Time: Marceline and Bubblegum (subtext) Clarence: Jeff's moms. Legend of Korra: Korra and Asami. Here: Pearl, Garnet, Ruby, Sapphire, Mystery Girl, etc. </p><p>And gay male characters are shown as a joke in children's show, (i just watched an episode of zoey 101 on teen nick and michael got paired with a guy for the school dance and that was just used for comedy.) or as side characters (there was some gay background characters in Clarence, and on the Loud House, Clyde has two dads). But never as main characters.  </p><p>There are A LOT of single male characters in the show. Greg just happens to be one of them. And since the blog runner wants to make SU the ultimate gayest show ever, they decided that Greg needs to have a boyfriend. </p><p>Give Greg a Boyfriend, if you're reading this, please don't kill me. I'm very neutral on this "Greg needs to be gay" thing. Let me explain. </p><p>Part of me says: "Yes yes yes! We totally need more male LGBT characters!" another part of me says: "No Greg loves Rose and we already have tons of awesome LGBT characters do we really need anymore". I agree that in kids' shows, there aren't as many male gay characters as lesbian characters.  But we have Mr. Smiley and Mr. Frowny for that. Also, we have hope for male background characters who are gay. (we have two moms from Sadie's song)But we already have so many awesome LGBT characters: </p><p>

<p>ti si a ekoj  </p><p>Steven Universe is terrible. More like Peeven Pooniverse. It should be removed from CN forever. And this is coming from someone who's username is based off of a British preschool cartoon character.....you need to watch quality programming like Teen Titans Go!, Uncle Grandpa, Clarence, Mighty Magiswords, Breadwinners, Sanjay and Craig, Fanboy and Chum Chum, Pickle and Peanut, iCarly, Thundermans, Wizards of Waverly Place, Secret Mountain Fort Awesome, Supernoobs, Johnny Test, I didn't do it, Austin and Ally, Victorious, Sam and Cat, Henry Danger, Game Shakers, School of Rock, Bizaardvark, Dora, Barney, Caillou, Future Worm, Dinosaur Train, and Sid the Science Kid.  </p><p>1. The acting. The acting is too convincing! I'm used to wooden and grating acting, but here the acting is too grand! The actors put too much effort into it. Dinosaur Train has way better acting than this piece of garbage. </p><p>2. The plots. The plots are stupid! They make little to no sense at all and are confusing. One episode they're like "BLAH BLAH BLAH WE NEED 2 STOOOPPPPPPPP DA CLOOOOOOOOSSTARRRRRRRRR" and all they do is whine about the homeworld gems and punch monsters. They have too many story arcs! The only good episodes are the episode that are considered filler, because they are not part of story arcs. Also, this is literally the animated version of a stupid soap opera. Theyre like "WAH WAH WAH CLUSTER" and then "WAH WAH WAH LAPIS" and "WAH WAH WAH PERIDOT" also the crystal gems are nincompoops. </p><p>3. The characters are all as stupid as crap.  </p><p>Steven is a fatto kid who only eats from McDonalds every day. All he does is mess things up and make things worse. He cant even use his gem!!!! All he does is eat and eat and eat and make out with his girlfriend Connie "Mary Sue" Maheswaren. Also he is overpowered and a gary stuf </p><p>Pearl is the worst character ever. She is mean to Amethyst 24/7, like in Steven's Lion, she said Amethyst was a mistake and she is stupid. She is a huge bully. She also abuses Steven and tried to murder him TWO TIMES. She is also too obsessed with Rose Quartz and Garnet. Pearl is very mean and a bully to Greg. She tried to kill him, beat him up, said the nastiest things possible on Earth to him, and got away with it because apparently we're supposed to sympathize with her. I hope Bismuth slices Pearl in half. </p><p>Amethyst is only there for toilet humor - DONE WRONG. Breadwinners knows how to do toilet  humor right, but not in SU. She shakes her butt too much, farts poops and pees all the time, and is a angsty emo teen daughter. </p><p>Garnet is overpowered and a mary sue. who cares if shes a fusion. also she has the worst character design alongside pearl, no one is that curvy! She has the tiniest waist ever, and pearl is as skinny as a toothpick. they are teachking kids to be anorexic!] </p><p>4. the animation </p> the animation has loads of errors AND THE OUTLINES ARE 2 THICK1!!!!!!!!!1111<figure class="article-thumb tright show-info-icon" style="width: 384px"> <figcaption> <p class="caption">UGLIEST ANIMATION EVER</p> </figcaption></figure><p>5.
