Now that weird image of Garnet “unfusing” along with Amethyst and Pearl from Alexandrite in “Fusion Cuisine” looks less like an animation error or coincidence and more of the creator team’s “hint” of a future gem just like with the Centipeetle Mother in “Monster Buddies.” Also considering the screen shot of that weird ‘reveal’ of Garnet’s individual gem makeup (I’m looking at the one slightly edited by TimmyBrock of their interpretation of where Sapphire is.), it looks like we can see Sapphire to the right and to the left we can see- well, I guess we can say Ruby’s the one who wears the pants in this relationship (I’m not implying that Ruby’s the dominant persona here, though in gem fusions, with the exception of Alexandrite, usually one gem’s persona is.).
