<p>While I don't think that we know enough of Gemkind to tell there's absolutely no magic involved in what they are able to do (and the series has a Magitek approach to Gem Technology) I agree that we can't classify them as "supernatural" because the series POV mostly focuses on gems, to whom magic is basically a bodily función and therefore natural.

<p>You know, I always suspected that governments in SU Earth were behind the silencing of Gem related stuff. I mean, Corrupted Gems and Gemsites are world-wide, but most of the common people (bar Beach City inhabitants ofc) have zero knowledge about them. And the CGs neither have the logistics nor the <i>will</i> to cover up all the events their activity causes. I wish the Crewnivers expands more on how politics work in this universe.

Maybe if you remove the caste info from the homeworld page, it won't even need a new page because it's already on the gems page.

But taking that into account, your theory doeas a lot more sense that you thought, because that property of quartz also means that it can produce regular vibrations under the effect of an electrical current. Now, which character(s) is able to produce a specific vibration from their gem weapon?

Maybe she chose one and "uplifted" it with the shards. </p><p>PD was Rose's counterpart not in the sense of personality but in that of the effect that their respective deaths had on their teams/families (YD and Amethyst suppress their suffering and put on an angry façade, BD and Pearl overgrieve and can't move on and, assuming the parallel repeats, WD and Garnet both detach themselves from the others and adopt an impersonal façade) </p><p>The importance of Steven is that without him and his empathic mojo, the CGs would probably ended up as the Diamonds, consumed by their mourning. </p><p>I have a theory in which PD wasn't fully aware of the damage that Kindergartening did to an ecosystem until she witnessed it. She carried it on because it was what was expected of her, and used the Zoo as a way of coping with her guilt, but ultimately it was too much for her to withstand and she asked Rose to end her suffering. </p><p>And also, it wasn't "fighting". In fact, I was doing what I could to prevent it from turnturning into a fight. However, I do not believe in leaving conflict unresolved or letting ignorant people continue to be ignorant. So, I quickly realized that the best way to resolve the conflict in the most diplomatic and rational way was getting the other person to clearly state what their thoughts, and, if I considered they needed to revise the morality of them, I'd point it out and calmly state why I thought that kind of statements were wrong. This, however, is a very long process that can be interpreted as an overly long quarrel, specially if one part isn't as calm as the other. I apologise if my attempt to do what I thought was right made you or any others uncomfortable. </p>
