But that doesn't make them evil. What they've done has worked. Yeah, not for our intrest, or for those the gems come across, but couldn't one argue that this is just survival of the fittest? I mean, dodos couldn't survive against humans. They were weaker, and died. Other planets (and even earth, without the CGs– or even with the CGs) is weaker, so they die. Gems are biologically (if that applies to inorganic beings) superior.

Why should they worry about the weaker creatures?

You see, ludexkoo was right when they said that the definition of evil varies, and that definition changes the context of the argument. But in my opinion (in my opinion, contest this if you want) evil is destroying creatures for no reason.

The gem's conquest of other planets does not fit that category. The gems are trying to survive- to do so, they have to destroy other planets. They're like parasites, in a sense, but parasites aren't evil. Parasites just try to survive.

And Blue is a very positive light to paint Homeworld Gems in. She has at least some decorum, and in
The Trial she doesn't want Yellow to shatter Steven, even when he 'admits' to killing Pink. She is somewhat fair.

And is the zoo that bad? I mean, food, water, nature... light, shelter, no disease... yeah, humans would at first react negatively, they have homes, but later generations, and the generation we see, love it. For good reason. It's a lot better than earth.
