I know this has been confirmed, but does someone have a link or picture of Matt confirming that the Gems would be side by side?
Trying to inform someone.
4 years.

No, that isn't true, it's been confirmed by one of the creators that they'd be side by side, not make a new Gem.
I'm asking if anyone has a link to where he said that, but I know he said it.

Also I ban this thread, We really need to have an admin close it! http://steven-universe.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:781774#84
All amethyst fans will hate this thread.
bruh
Red Sapphires don't exist, and nor do Orange Rubies.
By Red Sapphire, you mean Ruby, and by Orange Ruby you mean Orange Sapphire.
Sapphires and Rubies are the same thing, except that what a red sapphire is, it is called a Ruby, meaning an orange Ruby is just an orange sapphire
but you can't call them that
so I ban you because your lack of knowlege on gemology
If Pink Diamond cared about Earth that much, couldn't she be like
"How about no"
and tell the Diamonds that she can go find another planet?
Plausible.
but
Why.

As much as I don't think she belonged to Rose, she only said she didn't belong to anyone was because she's proud to be a free Pearl. Nowadays, she doesn't belong to anyone but that doesn't mean she hasn't been belonged to anyone in the past.
Yeah I was gonna add to that.
Since Gems were there for such a long time (1000 years) tons of humans had to of seen them. They had to see large, multi limbed humanoids fighting against one another at least once.
Considering this was 5000 years ago, humans weren't the smartest. But when religion did come into play, and everyone was asking around who created us and how and why, someone had to say, "Well, my great great grandmother saw this huge person fighting another huge person" or "My great great great grandfather saw a large man, taller than a mountain walk around his village" as at least a clue as to what the heck happened.
And to all the humans saw the corruption light and sudden disappearance of these guys probably thought it was the Gods leaving or whatever
but uh
by now to religion of what the Gems were probably do exist as well
Well, their Earth is roughly the same as our's. It is a large planet full of life, regardless of the geological differences.
Assuming there are around 7 billion humans, that means there are 7 billion minds that are currently thinking. At least one of those minds would have to think of how everything started and why they exist, whether that person was alive or is currently living in their world.
On our planet, they thought about that hundreds and hundreds years ago.. Even thousands. Meaning, we've had religion for a very long time.
And considering the Gem War started 5000 years ago, that means humans have had time to live for at least 5000 years.
And if no body during that time questioned why they existed, and who brought them here.. I'd be shocked. Like, really shocked.
But, assuming somebody thought of an idea on how they were there, and then somebody else thought of another idea, then another, then another, meaning there are all these different religions out there.
But someone had to say 'Great ideas, but, uh.. What if no?" and had the theory of evolution, the Big Bang Theory and all that.
so in conclusion I'd say with humans living for a thousand years, they'd have to have some sort of religion
So yeah
Actually, I think she's was Suitcase Sam's Pearl
yes???

Strong In The Real Way wrote: At this point, with Rose Quartz having been proved not to have been Pink Diamond (as I and many others suspected) I very much doubt Pearl belonged to her. Rose Quartz would've been just another Quartz Warrior before her rise to power as a rebel leader (much like Jasper) and not had the social status/standing required to own one.
Nah, I find it much more likely (and more romantic!) that Rose at one point "liberated" Pearl and that was what started Pearl's infatuation with her. Adorbable.
I, too, find that the most convincing and interesting story for her.
Bet y'all didn't know Georgerobinsonite was a Gem, did ya
But, keep in mind that if it was revealed that Pearl belonged to Georgerobinsonite, the 5th Commander's Assistant of the 14 Seas of Everscaberry would be a little.. Wasteful
It's very well possible she didn't belong to either Diamond. She could have been owned by any powerful and royal Gem, really.
And, as stated above, she could have been owned by Rose Quartz. Who knows.
No, I tell you hwat.

Oh
Duh
It's called America. In 'Gem Harvest', Andy calls the country they live in 'America' so the name of the country is the same.
