Comment Because the word "gender" is associated with how "one feels about oneself". Labeling them "genderless" would only say that they don't identify as a man/woman, rather than "sexless" meaning that they are neither man nor a woman.

Comment I don't really know about the histories of the definitions of "sex" and "gender", but I know, at least according to what majority of the people agree on, that those two words aren't interchangeable.
