Gems of the same type don't all have the same cut. Just look at Jasper and the Beta Jaspers. Or the Pearls (but they're customized, so that probably explains it).

Support. Squishing all the Diamond ships and palanquins into one page seems a bit forced to me, especially since Palanquins and the Diamond ships function very differently. At the least, 'Diamond Ship' and 'Palanquin' pages I think would work.

I imagine the quickest (but maybe not the most PG) way to beat a Diamond would be to stab/slash/impale them multiple times. ;P Also another detail I noticed is that in the combo attack, Blue held up her guard against every attack until Lion roared, which opened her up to being knocked down by Steven. Either way, I'm not sure if a Diamond exploding into smoke will ever actually appear in the series (not counting Pink as she did it on purpose) but I imagine they can reform very quickly. Also, I wonder if a bubble could contain a Diamond and for how long...

Gemdangit. I'm not too sure what the rooms would be like outside of them being a literal fusion of the gems' rooms. Ruby and Sapphire are interesting ones. Maybe Ruby's is a training room with torches and Sapphire's is an icy rink with a communication orb in it? Those are my only ideas that would fit their personalities :s

Very suspect that Blue thought the attack obliterated the gems but they were actually corrupted. My money's on White Diamond altering the attack for some sinister reason (or just to be a cow). Or Yellow but she's right there and I doubt she'd make defective gems on purpose lol

The strength of the Diamonds (Reunited Spoilers)

This is the first time we see a Diamond in a proper fight and they are certainly deserving of their goddess-like status. In the fight against Blue Diamond, she;

Instantly defeated Alexandrite with weaponized sadness.
Has a barn dropped on her.
Gets attacked and stomped on multiple times.
Tanks a flurry of attacks from every upgraded Crystal Gem (and Lion).
Gets squashed by her own ship.

And yet, when Yellow Diamond rips out of her ship and picks up the blue finger with one hand (which are feats by themselves), she was still unpoofed! I'm certain that if the Cluster didn't destroy the ship, the team could have likely succeeded in defeating Blue (especially if they reformed Alex while Blue was distracted) as they were almost untouched and Blue was knocked onto her knees. Yellow Diamond though would have been near-impossible due to her One-hit-'KO' ability and absurd strength. Those are my thoughts. What do you reckon could defeat the Diamonds?

B I S M U T H I S B A C K : D Impressive how the one with the most violent reaction to 'Rose' took her thousand-year 'not-a-diamond' porky the best. Also about time Peridot woke up lol Also, dat mood whiplash that they snuck into the last few frames. As anyone whose seen the promos knows, there's gonna be Diamonds in the sky. And they're certainly not gonna be maids of honor lol

The entire situation could have been averted if either the Diamonds showed that they cared (as Pink thought they'd not mind her 'death' and perhaps simply cook up a replacement) or just let her keep the blue marble as a zoo instead of shutting her up by throwing some humans into a spaceship. But then we'd have no Steven Universe. :P

Welp, Pink Diamond is now my favourite Diamond. Followed by Yellow, Blue then White (but only because she isn't revealed yet) Although the trope of absconding royalty is an old one, the fact that the childish, bratty half-pint pink girl was in the same class as revered, yet ruthless gem goddesses amuses me to no end. Speaking of which, hyped for Yellow visiting the 'hideous rock' and us seeing her ship (and perhaps palanquin)
