<p>Oh, I had one more thought about this episode I wanted to share. After this episode got released, I decided to rewatch the entire show with this new info. I noticed that in Buddy's book, when Buddy meets Rose, his description of her is just that she is a giant woman who smells like roses, or something along those lines. The point being, the description he gives is applicable to both Rose and PD, appearance wise. This leads me to think that, since gems can't shapeshift for extreme periods of time and it's unclear exactly how much a gem can change when reforming (Minor changes can be made to a gem's body shapes, but for example Amethyst can't reform into her "intended" form as shown in Reformed, when she tries to form a larger, stronger body but misfigures herself instead), when Rose needed to take a break from shapeshifting she went to the desert, possibly the landfill, to chill with her lions. I should also note that in Buddy's book, Buddy notes all the other CG members as Crystal Gems, but not Rose. And yes, I do know Rose didn't get mentioned in the play, but Buddy apparently stuck around BC long enough for Dewey to erect a statue of himself, giving him enough time to learn about Rose. Then again, the gems were quite reclusive before Steven. But Rose had a tendency to actually go meet and talk with humans, and with new humans settling so close near the temple, I can't imagine Rose didn't go there, and if she indeed did, Buddy would have recognised her in the desert. At least, those are my thoughts on it.

<p>While it's true there were several hints alluding to PD and Rose being one and the same (e.g. Pearl's loyalty to Rose combined with the PD symbol on Pearl's spacesuit), I don't see how the blade not being able to shatter gems = Rose being PD. It could just as well have implied that Rose didn't shatter PD, but instead poofed her and later imprisoned her in the temple, lion, or any other of Rose's hiding spots. I don't think the fact Rose's sword can't shatter gems is enough evidence to say they're one and the same. </p>

<p>You can hardly call it a theory no-one believed. Plenty of people thought Rose was Pink, some always held on to that theory and a fair amount of other people started believing it (again) after Jungle Moon. </p>

<p>For #1, I wouldn't say Rose Quartz was a fake being. I personally like to view Pink/Rose similarly to how I view Bruce Wayne/Batman, with their "true" face actually being a mask, acting how the outside world expects them to act, while their secret identities allow them to be the person they truly are. Also reminds me of the Oscar Wilde quote: "Give a man a mask and he will show you his true face." </p><p>As for #4, I'd say the diamonds started working on the cluster shortly after Pink's shattering. Judging by how she acted when talking about Pink, I'm assuming it was Yellow's idea to create the cluster, as her coping mechanism towards Pink's shattering seems to be putting it all behind her, and the best way to do that is to destroy everything that reminds her of Pink: changing the diamond logo to only show 3 diamonds, destroy Earth using the cluster, etc. I doubt Blue came up with the idea and we simply know too little about White (she hasn't even gotten an official name drop yet, if I'm correct) to theorize about her involvement. </p><p>EDIT: Btw, first post here.
