<p>I have to agree. Steven really just needs a break and he has to find his own path and learn to be independent. </p> </div> <p>That or some therapy. Lots and lots of therapy. I can imagine that the combined weight of being one of the leaders of Homeworld, his powers growing stronger, everyone leaving him behind to do other stuff, (poor Steven got Garfunkeled) and now his emotions exploding with that cactus thing, the amount of mental strain it must have on us is probably immense. </p>

<p>I feel like the cactus monster will be created when Steven gets mad again and turns pink when gardening is a lot harder than it seems, so he uses his powers to create plants but it ends up becoming the cactus monster, which is now evil because Steven created it while angry.
