Given how A Single Pale Rose ended, I'm wondering if Rainbow Quartz is really a quartz. Maybe at some point we might get an official answer, but for tonight lets have a little fun: If not a Quartz, what Gem is Rainbow Quartz?

IRL Morganite is often used in place of Pink Diamonds, maybe it was a Morganite that everyone saw shattered. I've kind of always held that we don't really know what happened to Pink Diamond (I still think Rose was Pink Diamond in hiding), and the show has not done anything to make me question this.

I feel like Eyeball would be a more credible eye-witness if she hadn't spent most of the previous episode convinced that Amethyst was Jasper with a suntan.

She wouldn't need to change the shape, only the orientation.
