The Gem species are based, in general, on real mineralogy, but there are some exceptions because Gems are an alien race and it isn't possible that everything to be the same as on Earth.

For example, there are some gemstone types which are part of a wider category in reality, but in show they are different and unrelated types.

Stevonnie Diamond Universe Maheswaran (instead of Stevonnie)

Stegory Diamond Universe (instead of Steg)

Smoky Quartz Universe (instead of Smoky Quartz)

Rainbow Quartz Universe (instead of Rainbow Quartz 2.0)

Sunstone Universe (instead of Sunstone)

Obsidian Universe (instead of Obsidian (Steven's Fusion) ).

Explanations:

-Gem characters are named after Gem types, additionally after Gem subtypes, identification codes or nicknames for a better differentation

-hybrid Gems (Steven) and hybrid Fusions (Steven's Fusions) should have a different structure of the name, based on their hybrid nature and based on real identity as Pink Diamond not as Rose Quartz; their name should have 2 components:

1)human component: forename and surname

2)Gem component: Gem type (additionally Gem subtype)

-Steven's Gem Half is a special non-hybrid Gem (even if he looks like a human, he is a pure Gem), that's why his name contain a human component (Steven) because he's the only singular Gem who resembles a human; as Water Steven is a version of Steven made of water or Watermelon Stevens are watermelons which looks like Steven, Steven's Gem Half is a version of Steven which is pink but because he's a Gem his name should also contain the Gem type; that's why I suggest that Steven's Gem Half should be named Pink Steven Diamond.

Also, a different article should be created for Pink Steven Diamond because he's a different character and because he's not Steven.

I hope someone will read everything and will take my proposals into account!

I would like someone to contact "The Crewniverse" and ask the following questions, because I don't know how to contact them:

1)Which of the two Gem types is the type of "Flower Monster": Diopside or Titanite?

2)Which are the Gem types of following Gem characters: "Tongue Monster", "Water Bear", "Heaven Beetle"/"Earth Beetle", Corrupted Gems Birds components of "Big Bird"/"Big Bird", six Gems components of Fluorite, Singing Statues (Vocalist and Trumpeter), Sentient Statues (Yellow and Blue), Sentient Walls (Yellow and Peachy), Sentient Bridges and Gem Pigments components of Evil Spirit Scroll (Red, Purple, Blue and Green)?

3)What exactly is living architecture (statues, walls and bridges) on Gem Homeworld: harvested Gems that can't regenerate, sentient Gems without a physical form that must be introduced in inanimated objects in order to function, insentient gemstones which power/decorate magical living objects or some of them just ordinary architecture with faces?
