So, you know how Steven had a constant exposure to trauma? Poofing Bismuth, getting a black eye by Peridot(s1), White Diamond separating Human Steven and Gem Steven, time travel, Lapis in season 1, witnessing Jasper’s corruption, getting violated by ‘Eyeball’? All that made Steven traumatized, giving him new Diamond powers that apparently Pink once had (according to Volleyball).
