An ancient Gem spaceship located in South America. According to Pearl it was one of several that landed on Earth, now non-functioning, abandoned and obsolete as of the advent of Warp Pads. These ships are used by Gems to reach new worlds in order to establish Warp Pads.
Description
The ship looks like a flying saucer made of dull, gray stone with three legs (most likely deployed landing struts). The interior is mostly dull, stony gray, with pink crystals and consoles, overgrown with mushrooms and green vegetation. The ship appears to be made primarily of stone or a material with a composition similar to stone. The ship also has signs of being older technology, having devices such as metallic spikes and gears.
One of the viewscreens has a variant of multicolored four lozenge symbol previously seen in the Ancient Sky Arena.
Trivia
- It is the third inter-planetary ship to be seen in this series.
- The second to have made it to its destination (chronologically, the first).
- The ship's materials, style, and function on the inside are more similar to that of a temple than a spacecraft.
- The Ancient Gem Colony Ship is one of the oldest gem locations to the point of some of the ship's functions not even working.
- The Ancient Gem Colony Ship's design is similar to that of the famous "flying saucer" spaceship made famous by people who claim to have seen them.
- In addition, the ship's three "legs" are a clear reference to the Martian war machines in H.G Wells' "The War of the Worlds".
- The Ancient Gem Colony Ship shares few similarities with the Gem Warship used in The Return and Jail Break. This is not surprising, as the Gem Warship is made with newer gem technology.
