The Attack Pod is a Homeworld combat vehicle piloted by Peridot (Squaridot).
Appearance[]
The Attack Pod is a floating spherical green vehicle with room inside for one Gem of Squaridot's size. The top half of the pod is retractable and has a window in front when extended. The bottom half features two retractable mechanical arms.
History[]
Save the Light[]
Squaridot pilots the Attack Pod in her battle against the Crystal Gems in The Great North.
Unleash the Light[]
In the post credits, the Attack Pod jumped into hyperspace.
In the second version of the game, it crashed inside of Hessonite's old warship.
Abilities[]
Like many other Homeworld vehicles, the Attack Pod can float in mid-air with no visible propulsion mechanism. It can also create a vacuum effect with its arms that pulls nearby people and objects toward it, spinning its fingers rapidly as it does so.
Trivia[]
- The Attack Pod's shape, size, and color scheme make it resemble an armed version of the Escape Pod.
Cultural References[]
- The Attack Pod's cockpit with its top retracted resembles the Egg Mobile from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
