History
Beach City Funland is an amusement park. It features roller coasters, arcade, a midway, teacups, and bumper cars. It was first seen in Bubble Buddies when Steven took Connie there when he was attempting to pop his magical bubble. Steven describes the place as "dangerous" because a lot of accidents apparently occur there, judging by the dilapadated state of the roller coaster.
It makes a second appearance in Serious Steven. Steven rode on The Teacups with the Crystal Gems until he became motion sick. He leaped off the ride, and landed on the Mr. Smiley at the controls. The ride spins out of control and breaks, sending riders flying across the park and into the ocean. Steven is declared permanently banned from all of the rides in Funland.
Despite this, Seven and the Gems return in Arcade Mania. Steven once again causes unintended destruction when he attempts to treat Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl to a day of fun at the arcade.
