Blue Light (presumed from dialogue, not official) is one of the seven Prism monsters and serves as the fourth boss of the video game Attack the Light. It's found in the sunken Lunar Sea Spire temple. It takes on the form of a giant whale-like monster and uses water-based attacks.
Appearance
Blue Light takes the form of a large whale shark with a bright blue color. It also has many white diamonds on it along with white diamonds for eyes.
Powers
- Blue Shock: Blue Light shoots an electric ball at one gem. If the attack hits, the gem hit will be paralyzed, rendering them immobile for one turn.
- Bubble Blast: Blue Light fires bubbles at each of the gems. Each one has a random chance to be a fish.
- Fish Blast: While using Bubble Blast, Blue Light randomly fires fishes. If it's blocked, the fish lies on the floor, causing Blue Light to open it's mouth and spend it's next turn sucking it up.
Boss Fight
The Blue Light will attack by launching 4 projectiles at the Gems, 2 of which will hit Garnet while the other 2 hit Amethyst and Pearl respectively. The projectiles will either be Bubbles that will burst on impact to deal damage, or Fish which will bounce off the Gems and land on the floor in front of the boss. If this happens, Blue Light will open it's mouth and expose it's weak point. Here, the player can attack the gem for extra damage. At the end of the turn, Blue Light will suck up the fish and close it's mouth. Blue Light is defeated before the fish are reabsorbed, they remain on the floor after the fight. It will also attack using Blue Shock, where it will fire and electric sphere at one of the Gems, which will paralyze them if not blocked.
