That's another thing.  Where's the news media in this universe?  Are there newspapers?  TV News?  Radio?  News websites?  There wasn't even any local media covering Beach City's mayoral election.  Beach City has been visited by nine extraterrestrial spacecraft, one of which crashed.  Then there was the giant arm that popped up out of the ground, Earth being connected to an intergalactic transporter network and a school for aliens yet not a single reporter looking for a story.  Maybe it's no wonder no one is looking into Lars and his ressurection from the dead.
