My theory is that it was one big plan with the diamonds. White made the arrangements, blue did the deed or told pink where to meet her and Yellow provided the weapon. Basically I think pink really wanted to be a true diamond despite being small so white gives her a test: she chooses the earth and tries to make it a reality. Only one of her gems rebels against her so she basically fails and gets shattered because she’s defective in every sense of the word.
